A contingent of 13 Norwegian persons participated at the 2019 IAPR conference in Gdansk, Poland. We had a good time meeting colleagues from research networks and institutions in the field of psychology of religion from all over the world. The Norwegian participants contributed with paper and poster presentations.

In a long row of annual conferences, we are delighted to invite you to the twelfth Nordic conference in psychology of religion. The theme of the 2019 Nordic conference is “Affects and meaning-making – clinical and literary perspectives”.
Knowledge about the significance of affects within mental health is a central issue in psychology and psychotherapy. Jon Monsen, professor at Department of Psychology at University of Oslo, is a leading researcher in this field and he will be the main speaker of the conference.
The International Association for the Psychology of Religion (IAPR) calls for nominations for the IAPR Early Career Award. The award rewards promising junior researchers in the field of the Psychology

You are welcome to submit an abstract to present your project at the Nordic conference 21-23 October. Relevant research will be presented in parallel sessions. Each presentation will be given 15 minutes including discussion.
